What This Means to Us

As a family-run freight forwarding business based in Tyldesley, Greater Manchester, we have always been proud of our roots in the Wigan borough. From our early days as a same day courier service to our current position as a full-service freight forwarder covering UK haulage, European freight, air and sea freight, and warehousing — every step of our journey has been driven by a commitment to doing things the right way.

Our Journey in 2026

2026 has been a landmark year for G&T Express. Alongside this award nomination, we have:

• Been awarded a place on the Crown Commercial Service Framework RM6354
• Secured our first government tender as part of that framework
• Launched our new customer portal for online job booking and quote requests
• Become proud shorts sponsors of Leigh Leopards Rugby League Club
• Completed over 628 jobs in a single 30-day period
• Been approved as suppliers for GXO Logistics and Ziegler
