The G&T Driver app collects the following data:

• Location data — GPS coordinates are collected while a job is active to provide real-time delivery tracking. Location is collected in the foreground and background while the driver has an active job session.
• Driver name — Optionally entered by the driver when starting a job session.
• Job reference — The GT reference or load ID entered by the driver to identify the job.
• Status updates — Timestamps when the driver marks each stage of a delivery (Collected, On Route, Arrived, Delivered).
• Proof of delivery photos — Photos taken by the driver and uploaded as proof of delivery.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the data collected to:

• Provide real-time delivery tracking to G&T Express operations staff and customers
• Record delivery timestamps and proof of delivery for operational records
• Improve the reliability and performance of our tracking service

We do not sell, share, or disclose your personal data to third parties except as required to operate the service or as required by law.

4. Location Data

The app requests "Allow all the time" location permission to enable background GPS tracking during active delivery jobs. Location data is only collected when a driver has an active job session. Location tracking stops automatically when the job is completed or the session is ended.

Location data is stored securely on our servers and is accessible only to authorised G&T Express staff and the customer associated with the specific delivery.

5. Data Retention

Job tracking data, including location history and status updates, is retained for a period of 12 months for operational and audit purposes, after which it is deleted.
